Options Group New York Office
History

In 1992, Options Group started as a technology recruiting firm placing application and analytic programmers, along with quant researchers focusing on derivative strategies. In 1995, we separated our business into a tech practice and a financial services practice. Working out of a 600 sq. ft. room on Penn Plaza with six people, the founders of Options Group would cold call and network via phone and fax.

 

In 1996, the founders of Options Group purchased a 10,000 sq. foot building in Gramercy Park to empower expansion and growth. Our flagship office in New York City has since grown from six to eighty people, and during this time, we have demonstrated true consistency in managing relationships as many of our original clients continue to be clients of the firm today.

 

Options Group is now one of the leading recruitment firms for financial services and technology. The New York office proudly serves as headquarters to the global operation, and it is where the global strategic, corporate development, administrative, intelligence and analytics are housed. There is a vitality and energy here that makes for a creative and fast-paced environment where a strong work ethic is accompanied by a tenacious desire to succeed.

 

New York acts as the bridge between our Asia and European offices to ensure a seamless coordination of account coverage and business origination. Our office lies where many of our clients are headquartered — at the epicenter of the global financial services universe.
