In Remembrance of Bob Reed

With sorrow, profound respect, and immense awe, Options Group reflects on the life of our President and Co-Founder, Bob Reed.

He was an unstoppable force of energy, and none of us would be here today if not for his commitment to this firm.  He is, and will always remain, lynchpin to our firm’s DNA.  Bob’s unwavering love for his family, community, and every single person here at Options Group, have remained at the forefront of our minds over the past two years.

On Tuesday October 4th, the Options Group family reflects on the everlasting impact Bob has had on all of us at Options Group.  As his colleagues and dear friends we pray that Bob’s loving memory bring him and his family peace, comfort, and strength.   The Options Group family mourns the loss of a great father, leader, mentor, and friend.  We continue to deeply contemplate his immense legacy – one we strive every coming day to live up to.

These past two years have been trying indeed. There are no words to describe the impact Bob had on the firm, as well as with so many of us individually. Our thoughts are with Bob’s family always. We know, without question, that Bob would be very proud to see the next generation of Options Group taking the business forward and driving to keep this Firm at the top of its industry.

As noted In Memoriam, “Bob always tried to instill in the younger generation that long term client relationships are based on trust, developed painstakingly over time by a track record of meeting clients’ needs and dealing with them ethically… Once established this trust assures the firm both a proprietary insight into their needs as well as giving us the business opportunities that will fundamentally and significantly transform our clients’ firms.” Bob Reed had everything to do with that. From the start, his ambition for Options Group was to prove that individual growth has unlimited possibilities. This was the entrepreneurial essence of Options Group and the primary way the firm distinguished itself from larger competitors.

“Bob is a legend and will remain one; I will miss my friend every day and we will make sure to carry his legacy forward.”
