Anthony Mainolfi is a Managing Partner and Co-Head of the Global Buy Side practice, covering Hedge Funds, Asset Managers, Private Equity and Family Offices. Anthony joined Options Group in 2008 and is based in New York. In addition to his managerial responsibilities for the buy side practice, Anthony has significant executive search experience across Quantitative Trading, Quantitative Research, Fixed Income Trading, Equity Derivatives Trading, and Electronic Execution. He has led retained search efforts for front office roles at all levels of experience across asset classes, and is a member of the Management Committee, providing leadership for both process operations and account strategy globally. Additionally, Anthony has been a key driver of the firm’s technology initiatives, having spearheaded the development of tools and applications for executive search, intelligence delivery and client management.
Anthony has been instrumental over the past several years in assisting the leadership of global financial institutions and corporations to forensically analyze executive leadership qualities, cultural attributes and future potential in relation to talent strategy.
Prior to moving into a senior consulting role, Anthony was the Global Head of Research for the firm. In this capacity, he built and actively managed the Options Group Intelligence Unit globally, overseeing the production and delivery of competitive intelligence across all asset classes. From 2009 until 2014, Anthony was integral in the systematization of the firm’s research processes. Throughout this time, he also contributed significantly to the development and production of the firm’s industry leading annual Global Compensation Report for Financial Services.
Anthony graduated Summa Cum Laude from Syracuse University in 2006 with a BA in History, Philosophy and International Relations. He is a member of the Board of Directors for !mpaCT, a charitable organization with a mission to support, volunteer and raise awareness for important Connecticut charities.
