Client seeks an experienced trading compliance professional for a fairly new US broker dealer arm of a registered investment advisor reporting to the B/D CCO.
This person will work alongside the CCO in designing/developing effective compliance procedures and controls in support of new & expanding trading activities. They will also participate in drafting, reviewing & refining the documents that govern company policy/practice.
• 5-8 years of experience in compliance at an institutional investment advisor, a major financial services firm, or experience at the SEC or the FINRA
• Can demonstrate a strong understanding of trading equity securities & of equity market macro and microstructure issues plus the ability to support various trading businesses
• Bring experience dealing with audits & other requests from U.S. regulatory bodies - the SEC & FINRA
• Have a strong academic record with, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree. A computer science background is a plus but not required
